POWER TRIPPING AGENTS AT PHAC

He got a test in South Carolina that showed he was COVID-19 negative. Despite intense inspections boarding his American Airlines flight in Charlotte, he was cleared to travel.

But when he got to Pearson International Airport Sunday night, Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) agents didn’t accept his rapid test. They gave him a new test and held him against his will in a COVID containment hotel where he could not leave his room.

After passing his second COVID-19 test, Steve was released at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Issued an  “Authorization to Leave a Quarantine Facility” document from PHAC, he was instructed to self-isolate for 14 days “or face a $1-million fine or three years in jail.”
