The arrogance and utter lack of compassion that some parts of the expert scientific community have shown during the pandemic was on full display Thursday.
One of the lead scientists on Ontario’s self-appointed and self-important Science Table told restaurant workers and owners to “stop moaning” as he called for their incomes to be cut dramatically.
“What’s the problem with going back to 25% capacity in a restaurant?” Juni asked. “Life will continue.”
