The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.

Sure, and the Pope should open his eyes and see the merits of Protestantism.
What should happen (but it won't) is the oil companies and investors send letters to all political parties that there would be not one red cent contributed to any party that supported any group that opposed the oil industry.
Instead, we have them sucking up to these green leeches. You should see the TV ads we get from the oil and development companies, even on hunting and fishing shows. You would think Greenpeace wrote them. The oil companies are just as guilty of supporting this environmental bullshit as our government is.
You're absolutely right, tj230. I have never seen more beautiful, picturesque scenes than those in an oil company commercial. Looks like a tourism ad. Instead of promoting themselves as job creators and economy boosters (if not downright economy crutches), oil companies are singing the "See? We're not all bad" mantra.
