Annoy me?! No. As a 7th generation Ontario resident, I'm not annoyed any more. Anger comes early on, like when a loved one is initially diagnosed with a terminal disease. I'm now simply sitting bedside, holding the hand of my once-strong-and-proud Province as it drifts in and out of consciousness. I suppose the grief, the eulogies, the interment and such will come soon enough, in the natural course of things.
