NO TURBINE ZONE
A victory for the informed: awareness and education played a large part in the campaign against the wind turbine project in this Perth-Welling community. Wind Concerns Ontario executive member Warren Howard said the project’s cancellation comes as a victory for the Elma-Mornington Concerned Citizens group that has co-ordinated an effort against the project and how it would impact the rural community.
