Government of Canada Invests in Dairy Processing Sector...again:
"Ottawa, Ontario, February 27, 2014 – Parliamentary Secretary Pierre Lemieux, on behalf of Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz, will be in St-Eugene, Ontario on Friday, February 28, to make an announcement in support of Canada's dairy processing sector."
Seems as if the government tit is a lot more profitable than that of the goat or cow. Huge revenue stream released by a few strategic quickies in the offices of our elected representatives.
ReplyDeleteI remember back when Pierre Lemieux was an aspiring member of parliament. When asked at a town hall meeting what he and Mister Harper would do for a man with a young family, he responded," We'll lower your taxes then you can do what you like with your own money." How things have changed. Federal money flying from Pierre's fingertips in all directions.....taxpayer money .
ReplyDeleteIt's all just blatant vote-buying, isn't it? Take money from thousands of little guys to make fat billionaires fatter, in the hopes that the fat guys might slide millions your way so that you will continue to rob little guys, etc., etc.
ReplyDeleteJeepers. I though our pretend conservative MP Del Mastro could bring home the bacon, But he's small fry compared to that Lemieux guy. His assistants must be busy pushing all those shopping carts full of pork!
