Ever heard the old argument that supply management proponents always use? SM farmers are "supported" through the marketplace by consumers and don't take subsidies and handouts from taxpayers? Well that's not exactly true.
We buy our dairy and eggs in NY state, and by the looks of things in the supermarket parking lots, so does half of Ontario. I think if things were such a good deal in Canada, there would be a lot less traffic on the Rainbow Bridge.
