"Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant Wednesday as part of their investigation into the deletion of emails on cancelled gas plants by staff in former premier Dalton McGuinty's office."
Hey guys, I know it might be a little embarrassing, but since you're in there anyways lookin' around, can you see if there are any emails about this?
Caledonia? Are you kidding? McGuinty's Sol. Gen. renamed it OPP (Oneida Peace Pipe) Hill.
ReplyDeleteHow diligent you think Ontario's Political Pow-wowers will be to uncover incriminating evidence against McGuinty? After all, he might pull a Mike Duffy and point out the complicity of the OPP brass on Peace Pipe Hill.
From Fantino's email to Caledonia Council: "In the context of a situation that is not of our doing, and one that is not for us to resolve..." Then a little further along, "on behalf of the men and women of the OPP I feel a sense of duty..." Really? Perhaps the resolution of the conflict IS your duty Fantino? I think it involves arresting and charging criminals who publicly and brazenly commit acts of violence...but maybe I'm too old-fashioned.

DeleteI'll try again.
DeleteWhat is incredible is that after all the dereliction of duty in Caledonia, people still elected Fantino as an MP.
The OPP has zero credibility as far as I'm concerned. They were losing it long before Caledonia with their butt kissing support for the firearms act and hiring the dreadful Gwen Jacobs as commissioner. The OPP is without a doubt the most politicized police department in Canada.
