From the Gazette:
"Je m’excuse. I’m sorry. That was so rude, daring to offer you the choice of service in the language in which you feel most comfortable. Trust me. It will happen again.
This is Montreal. Ici on parle everything."
From the National Post:
"Premier Pauline Marois has rolled out certain policies that could be described as more xenophobic than racist, particularly where it relates to language. "
You know you're well and truly screwed when your anglo-rights flag-bearers meekly comply with the racist 'French text must predominate' edicts of Bill 101.
"When Quebec finally finds the balls to go"
ReplyDeleteQuit teasing me like that.
Shouldn't it be," when a politician from the ROC finally has the balls to show them the door?"
ReplyDeleteNothing more Liberal than an English Quebecer. They'd bring their favourite rope to a scaffold erected in their honour.
ReplyDeleteNothing but plain old-fashioned yellowness with doses of stupidity thrown in for good measure.
ReplyDeleteHere is a group supposedly protesting against the stone-age policies of a racist (sorry, xenophobic) government, and it is totally in compliance with the very legislation that it says is so unbearable!
