What Alberta Finance Minister Horner said:
“Financially, we end the year on a very positive note. ... We’re back in the black, without question.”
And what he forgot to mention
The annual (CTF) report shows Alberta spent $5 billion on capital projects, borrowing $3.8 billion, to bring the total capital debt, including debt incurred through private-public partnerships, to $8.7 billion.
I will try that with my truck. I owe 3800 but if the bank will loan me 4000 my debt will be gone and I'm 200 to the good
ReplyDeleteI'm telling you, the petro industries keep a close eye on Horner. When he was Minister of Rural Development he was pushing the "green" crap. A poem made the rounds.

An Ethanol spoiler
And frightened Ms. Horner away.
Okay, okay! Tell you what. We'll take dickhead Horner off your hands and we'll give you Wynnebag and her entire cabinet in exchange! Boy, did you ever hit a streak of luck, tj!
