Only one question remains: when did CBC executives get their arses reddened?
The BBC has spent tens of thousands of pounds over six years trying to keep secret an extraordinary ‘eco’ conference which has shaped its coverage of global warming...
At the event, in 2006, green activists and scientists lectured 28 of the Corporation’s most senior executives.
A lobby group with close links to green campaigners, the International Broadcasting Trust (IBT), helped to arrange government funding for both the climate seminar and other BBC seminars run by Mr Harrabin – one of which was attended by then Labour Cabinet Minister Hilary Benn.
Applying for money from Mr Benn’s Department for International Development (DFID), the IBT promised Ministers the seminars would influence programme content for years to come.
Don't think it would take much "lecturing" to get CBC's Champagne Socialists to sing from the Green Book of Praise.
ReplyDeleteHard to imagine that CBC's execs would NOT be regular attendees at Saint Suzuki's soirees.
Yes, I agree. More likely that CBC called in the green parasites - after all, they are all birds of a feather - and said "here's what we are going to do for you".
DeleteI'm sure that as we are all blogging away, several diligent CTV/TorStar/G&M reporters are digging away to find out when CBC brass got their implants.
ReplyDeleteYou people are just incredible. You imagine conspiracies every time there is a bit of environmental advocacy.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't happen if all these 'bits of environmental advocacy' were not invariably accompanied by sleazy political agendas, cash pay-offs, and cover-ups.
Deletemsholistic - you are either unbelievably naïve, incredibly stupid, or on the green take.
DeleteTime to fess up. We won't be too judgemental.
